The Origin of "Famous Shake"

My daughter is particularly fond of this smoothie we make together, which she has dubbed a “famous shake." She likes famous shakes because they are delicious, colorful and deliver nutritional goods in a very appealing  way.  So when it came time to name my company, I thought that Famous Shake captured the essence of what we do, namely... producing excellent work that gets it's message across with heart and soul... with a process that is collaborative and fun along the way.

Garrett Sutton

Lead Editor/Director of Photography

Since graduating  from USC’s screenwriting program,  I've written, directed and produced all kinds of projects. I've worked on kids' comedies (Saved By The Bell) and water-cooler reality TV shows (Biggest Loser, Making the Band, La Hair) as well as documentaries, features, web series... even a Spanish-language video for expectant mothers.

And what I've learned from all of this is - it's the idea that counts.  And that's the principle upon which I've built Famous Shake.  You can have the greatest actors, the slickest camera work, the most talented makeup artists…they're all really important. But if the idea is ill-conceived, your project will be too.

It's our goal to turn your idea, thought, script into a video that has impact, punch and accomplishes just want you need it to. After all,  a great recipe with great execution becomes a great dish.

Let Famous Shake make a video for you!

As a writer and director, speed, versatility and an upbeat attitude are the hallmarks of Dave's working style.
